What document formats do you support?
Every plan produces the same print-ready PDF, at the same quality, for all 15 document types. Plans differ by how many documents you can generate each month, not by what comes out. Output is print-ready at A4, A5, Letter and A3.
Can I use my own gallery branding?
Professional and above plans include custom branding — your gallery name, contact information, and preferences are embedded throughout every document. Essentials uses Gilded Art Works branding.
What HS codes do you support?
Ten: hand-executed painting and drawing (9701.10), collage (9701.90), original prints (9702.00), sculpture in any material (9703.00), photographs (4911.91), reproductions (4911.99), artistic ceramics (6913.10), art glass (7013.99), hand-woven tapestry (5805.00), and works over 100 years old (9706.00), which take precedence. The classifier reads your medium and, when it cannot place it with confidence, marks the line review and refuses to assert a code — an unclassified line is cheaper than a signed misdeclaration.
Is my artwork data secure?
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and every account's records are isolated by row-level security. Generated documents embed the artwork image you supplied and are archived to private storage so you can re-download them — on every plan, including Essentials.
Can I save my artwork data for future shipments?
Yes — Professional and above plans save your artwork library. Enter your artworks once and reuse them across every document and shipment. Essentials plan data is session-based.
Is this accepted by customs authorities?
Gilded Art Works produces a commercial invoice carrying the fields UPS, FedEx and DHL expect for fine art — shipper, consignee, description, artist, year, medium, dimensions, an HS code per line and declared values, over a signed declaration. It does not file your entry, calculate duty or determine country of origin, and every carrier still requires its own filing. Have your customs broker read it before you sign it.
Which documents can I generate?
All 15 on every plan: certificate of authenticity, editorial catalog, customs invoice, bill of sale, condition report, provenance record, appraisal, artwork passport (NFC), consignment, insurance, loan agreement, conservation, exhibition history, artist statement, and shipping documentation. Select “All Documents” to generate a full set in a single click — it counts as one document toward your monthly limit.
What's the difference between Studio and Gallery?
Studio adds team accounts (2 seats), branded share portals, and a larger artwork library (200). Gallery adds white-label document options (remove platform marks), outbound webhooks, an unlimited library, a public storefront at your own address, and dedicated support. Programmatic API access is not open yet — every endpoint authenticates with a browser session, so there is no key-based path in or out.
